Main responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring that goals and timelines are met, while promoting and upholding the workplace health and safety culture, operations and code of conduct.

• Ensure preventive maintenance on all equipment;
• Analyze the nature of the failures and issue a diagnosis;
• Notify the Mechanical Superintendent of required repairs;
• Perform minor and major repairs on all equipment;
• Maintain work tools;
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment;
• Any other related task.

General skills

• Hold a vocational diploma (DVS) in construction machinery mechanics or significant work experience;
• Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
• Hold an unrestricted driver's license;
• Having the “Preventive Maintenance Program (PEP)” training is an asset;
• Demonstrate rigor;
• Have a developed sense of initiative.
